I am almost home after an epic month tour around the remotest places on earth!
What a priviledge and pleasure it was to be able to race in such amazing places, from Cebu in The Philippines, to Saipan in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and onto Guam the next island along.
I originally booked to go for a week but caught the XTERRA bug and changed my ticket to go to Saipan, did 2 races and changed the ticket again to go to Guam, if only I didn’t have to work I would be staying for Austarlia /New zealand and then Malaysia, but it’s not over yet…
I am on a lay over of 9 hours in Seoul airport but hey it’s not too bad here…in the Asiana lounge and time for that important reflecting on my time in Asia, Honestly I had a BALL, a rollercoaster ride I never wanted to get off.I guess I just plain got caught p in all the excitment of racing and training around the globe and meeting such fine and fabulous people along the way! Loving every minute of it, but now have to face up to my responsibilities.
I could not have done all this with out support form home and whilt I was there, we are treated so well and the locals do so much for us as pro Xterra Athletes.I want to thank my home stays In Guam and Saipan and Fred, Princess, for the gerosity , kindenss in Cebu.
My results reflected how happy I was and relaxed, was able to concente only on racing and training , London living does not always allow that luxury.Working and training with resonsibities, so it is nice to let them all go for a while.
Again my sponsors have been amazing too, Canonndale for the Scalpel 1 29 er, Craft , Suunto, Shock absorber, nuun clif bars, blue seventy, bike and run , chelmer cycles, boomcycles, Bruce, Butler, mark from Purus Health,Craft, and not forgetting my coach julie Dibens.

Week 2: Xterra Saipan; 5th Pro
